It's essential to care for your gold-filled jewelry by avoiding contact with harsh chemicals, lotions, and perfumes. Additionally, storing your jewelry in a cool, dry place when not in use can help prevent tarnishing.

*Sterling Silver, on the other hand, is prone to natural tarnishing when exposed to oils and sulfur compounds in the air. This process is natural and can be influenced by factors like air, moisture, and certain chemicals. Taking care of your sterling silver by keeping it dry and cleaning it regularly with a silver polishing cloth can help slow down the tarnishing and keep it looking shiny.

*Gemstones, in general, do not tarnish like metals, but certain factors can affect their appearance over time. While gemstones are known for their durability and resistance to tarnishing, discoloration or changes in color may occur due to environmental influences, exposure to chemicals, or even natural processes within the gem itself. 

To maintain the beauty of your gemstone jewelry, it's advisable to avoid exposing them to harsh chemicals, extreme temperatures, and direct sunlight. Regular cleaning and proper care will help preserve the appearance of your gemstone pieces.

Yes, elastic bracelets can stretch out over time due to wear and environmental factors. To maintain their elasticity, roll them over your hand instead of stretching, and avoid exposing them to water or harsh chemicals. If needed, you can always send back for a re-string. Please email jewelry.sandandstone@gmail.com to start the process of a re-string.

It is VERY important that you choose the correct size for your bracelet. If you are unsure, please use the Bracelet Sizing Guide is listed HERE. 

We do offer to re-string bracelets for $10 plus shipping if a wrong size is ordered or your bracelet stretches/breaks. In the unfortunate event that the bracelet breaks, please gather all the beads that you can and email us for further instructions. 

If you need a custom size, please put that in the notes section of your order.

Due to the custom nature of our pieces, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for personalized items.

Therefore, all sales are final, and we encourage you to review your order details carefully before confirming your purchase.

Each piece offered at S&SC is hand made to order. Please allow 2-4  weeks to receive your custom piece once your order is placed. Once an order is shipped, we have no control over the shipping process. You will receive a tracking number and should receive within 3-5 business days.

We currently ship within the US only. 

Each bracelet or necklace is personalized per your requests. Size, color, name, date, etc. are different for every custom piece I design. I want each design to be special and unlike any other.
